Todd is an Aussie who is a husband and father of 2 first. He’s a Personal trainer and works as a Chiropractor. He loves the outdoors, camping, riding bikes, motorcycles and is a fitness fanatic. Todd is also a self described introvert.

Jan 9th, 2025 was my 4th year of sobriety. After 20 years in the states, I moved home to Australia, bought beach house and now enjoy the organic beauties of nature. Studying full time, I acquired my certification for Alcohol & Other Drugs and continued on to complete my Diploma of Counselling. Corinna is mum to Jack , MayMay and grandma to Arthur. She is retired with 37 years mental health nursing experience. She is a Sobertown Podcast contributor. Positive Recovery with Corinna, and Co- host of Two4One Happy Hour. She runs ladies telegram support groups with Pollya. Since getting sober, corinna has used mindfulness to learn to walk again and is riding her can am around the UK with her partner Andy, promoting Positive living with sobriety and disability. Polly is 69 years old and her sobriety date is June 3rd 2020. She is English and living in Texas so she is Texlish. Her focus in sobriety is helping other ladies to connect and support each other is their sobriety, to lean on each other in their emotional struggles of day to day living. Mary is still trying to figure out who she is and what she likes to do in sobriety. She currently lives in Jacksonville, FL with her husband, their two beautiful kids and rambunctious dogs. She’s spent the last 15 years working as an art director in the cosmetics industry and gives back by helping with various graphic design duties in the Sobertown and IAS communities. Peanut has a M.S. in Organization Leadership and Management. The Founder/Owner of The Yarn Consolery LLC, she helps others with healing-centered engagement. As a Support Group Facilitator for Rewired by Erica Siegelman she believes all people can find hope in a substance free lifestyle.

Shickey is from England, owns his own hardware shop, loves fitness and running. He loves wearing his sobriety at London West End Shows, outings with the family and is a lighthouse in his community. Shickey is a Sobertown Podcast contributor and has amazing sober insights, brings laughter and tons of support to the Sober communities. He's an amazing example how to live sober in a world full of booze! Shickey loves Big Badass American Trucks! BOOOOOM!!

Imust is a hard working, self employed, wife and mother of 2 teenagers, from England. Since giving up drinking she is diving head first into all the things life “without alcohol” has to offer. She's taken up art, climbed mountains, done paddle boarding and has even thrown herself into trying out some podcasting! First and foremost Alex is a mother of 4. After that she is a sober warrior wanting to spread the love and foundation she has found within this community. After dealing with a progressive addiction for nearly 2 decades and multiple legal issues because of it, she finally hit rock-bottom. Finding IAS and the Sobertown community was so deeply life-changing for her. She never looked back! In her sobriety she started to become passionate about helping/supporting, others on their journey as well and understanding the science behind addiction.

Hiya, I'm Fluffy.  I started my sober journey in 2015 after 40+ years of drinking, a heavy day drinker for ~ the last 15 years of my drinking career.  High liver enzymes prompted a detox in Nov 2015 and I remained sober for 6 months.  I slipped in May 2016 and was quickly back to where I started.  I found Annie Grace and her 30 Day Alcohol Experiment in Nov 2019.  I slipped after 60 days, reset and continue to be abstinent ODAAT.

I joined Sobertown Facebook when the group was in its infancy and I continue to welcome new members to the group, post information on sobriety and our zoom programme.

Michal's struggle with alcohol began at an early age, and she knew she needed to do something about it by her late 20s. She began her recovery journey in 2009 and now often speaks to the fact that recovery is not linear, and it is as individual as the person on the journey.

She's a passionate animal lover, rescue advocate, motorcycle and tattoo enthusiast, and lover of old abandoned places. ❤️ Communities like IAS and Sobertown have built the foundation for her recovery journey, and she’s a firm believer that connection beats addiction.

After being diagnosed with MS 37 years ago at the age of 19, I became addicted to amphetamines of any kind because I was so fatigued all the time. 20+ years later I decided to TRY to get sober on my own from crystal meth. Didn't ever happen!! After developing a personal relationship with Jesus, I finally got it licked. Have now been sober since June, 2017. In 2018 Leslei’s health tanked and left her bedridden…that’s when she started creating a bucket list.

April of 2021 she went skydiving and then again Sept of 2022. Recently she attended the Daytona 500 in Florida.

Rai hates talking about herself so she will just tell you what she knows. She knows that no matter who you are, who your parents are, who you’re married to if you want sobriety you can have it. 2 years ago she got sober without any formal treatment, while her husband drank excessively every day, with her mom in active addiction and estranged from her family. There were so many days she didn’t think she would ever be sober but she wanted it more than anything and now it’s what she has.

Stephanie/SeaAngel is a retired fitness professional, lifeguard, swim/bike/run coach, & triathlete of 20 years. She's been married 33 years & has an Opera-singing son. She is an artist & empath, in search of love & beauty in this world. Steph lives on the Central Coast of California, near San Luis Obispo

Stephanie was a Living History Docent for 10 years at Hearst Castle. She was featured in movies regarding the life & times of William Randolph Hearst.

Alyssa (ResilientMama) started her sober journey in August of 2022 and is a member of the IAS community. She’s a big proponent of asking for help when you need it and surrounding yourself with likeminded people. 🤍

DeMali aka Maliwog on IAS is a wife and mother of three who is on a path of healing and rediscovery. She is a self-improvement enthusiast. Her hobbies include anything artsy, crafty, and creative. She's the creator of "Offbeat Sobriety ASMR" on YouTube, a resource for relaxation, self care, and learning together on this sober journey.

Anita Darcel Taylor is a recovering alcoholic. Her sobriety date is March 29, 2021, remaining sober with the support of IAS, Alcoholics Anonymous, and therapy. She is a writer having published personal essays in numerous literary journals addressing living with manic depression. Currently, she is completing her first full manuscript delving into the realities of battling a genetic terminal heart disease while fully embracing sobriety. For more than 40 years she has lived in Washington, DC, much of that time boldly working towards social justice. She hails from Schenectady, New York.

Elaine is a card-carrying creative super dweeb, taking on a diverse range of clients and projects. Mostly she builds Squarespace websites and helps them rank well on Google. Her favorite things include helping others and spending time in nature with the people she loves.
