The Sober Witch: A Grimoire of Recovery

An amazing member of our Sobertown community has recently launched a fascinating new website focusing on the benefits of using magickal intentions in the recovery journey.

First things first, The Sober Witch isn’t some sort of culty variation of the Wiccan religion. In fact, in recent years, an interest in all things witchy has surged in popularity to such a degree that massive mainstream brands have started adopting its aesthetic. If you’ve bought anything with an evil eye on it, you know what we’re talking about.

Modern magick instead centers on the cycles of nature and the seasons, the cycles of the moon, the wheel of the year, elements, herbs, plants, and the planets, along with crystals and stones, tarot, and runes.

If you’re looking for rituals that help set intentions in your recovery journey, The Sober Witch is a wonderful place to explore for practices to promote self care and protect your energy.

Here are some reflections directly from the founder herself to further share how she hopes to help others.

I find the magickal and sober paths parallel in their journey through the liminal space.  We are traversing new ground from what was to what we want to and shall be.  We are working and connecting to mind, body, and spirit.  We are actively calling in what serves us and releasing what no longer does.
